I went to Town Square tonight since I had a couple of coupons that expired today. It was actually a decent day and I definitely want Summer to come later....I'm not ready for the heat. I love the way the clouds look in this picture.

The weather has been unpredictable the past two weeks.....maybe it is the April showers brings May flowers idea, but in any case I hate it. It's windy hot and then windy cold! Las Vegas should be renamed the windy city from now on. T has rose bushes in his backyard. This is the first time in my adult life, that I have rose bushes. I was so excited that more roses have begun to bloom and I decided to take a picture in the windy elements. Pretty huh?!

For the past 4 years, there has been a Race for the Cure team formed for my mom and those that are currently fighting breast cancer every year. I've been team captain for the past three years and the main reason why I still do the Race for the Cure is so that we can find a cure for breast cancer or any cancer. No one should have to ever lose their loved one to cancer. Our team has gotten smaller as the years pass, but the first year when my mom was alive we had over 100 people. Last year, we had about 40 and this year I think we have over 20 people. I'm grateful for those that still walk with us every year and the new people that have joined our team. I think the older I get the more I realize that life is short. There is definitely no guarantees in life, but I guess that's where you try and make the most out of it. Be Happy! 

PS. I'm going to try and run my first 5k this Saturday at the Race for the Cure.  Wish me luck, cause I need it!

Every other week T and I go to either my family's or his family's house for dinner. I was heading out and I saw these on the table. I had to take two....since T wanted one. I've never had the deep fried one before....I wonder if those are good. Luckily, T and I ran after dinner so this treat was well deserved, but I am still a fatty.

I went to the dentist today for a 6 month cleaning. I HATE the dentist....maybe it's cause I need to start flossing all the time. Anyways, I did get a free goody bag of stuff I won't use....because they told me to use my Sonicare all the time and I have the cool floss picks.

T took Nismo to the groomers today....he was there from 9-330 since we were out with the kids playing Laser Tag. They had to cut his nails and wash him....but I don't think they do as good of a job as T does. He does get to come home with a bandanna though and I thought it was cute.

One of my birthday gifts this year was a new laptop....a pink laptop! I was chatting with my cousin via webcam the other day and I noticed a program that opened up as I was doing this. You can alter how you look and put yourself in scenes, etc. T and I played with this program for quite some time on Thursday. Tonight, I showed Conrad and Carlene and this is what we came up with. Pretty nifty huh?

Ever since we had our last BBQ (like 3 times ago) and T bought masago, I've been going crazy eating it. I eat it with rice and soy sauce....and let me tell you it's really good. It's like sushi, but not. I had to go to the Korean market to purchase this and did I feel out of place! Next time, T will be making the masago run. He looks more Korean then I do....j/k!

I went to lunch with my Aunt and brother today at this new place called Pho Village. My favorite were the appetizers! Yum! Thanks for yummy lunch Aunt G.

Just when you think the world is against you, you find out who your true friends really are. I met Margarita at a place called CASAT, but we didn't really talk until 4 years ago when I really needed a friend. We've had some great memories (from my french spanish, taco bell, super burrito, sushi with what's his name the chef? i think it was tony, GB, atlantis, Marat, MAC and MAC Tony, etc.) and I know we will have more memories together. I noticed on her blog today that she gave me a birthday shout out. Thank you M! This is an old picture, but I know we will see each other again soon and take some new ones. And that's when you know you will always be friends, because we don't see each other all the time, we still maintain that bond. I love you and miss you!

Poor doggy! We took him to the clinic today to get his shots since there's a huge discount. However, where this is a big discount there is a wait. The clinic was filled with lots of dogs. I had a 3 year old German Shepherd drooling on me, but he was very calm and big! Nismo was such a good dog getting two shots in the butt! (haha)

We were lucky enough to get to hang out at the pool today....awesome weather and good times. We also got a free muffin basket...ok nothing is free in this world but you get what I mean!

T took me out to dinner for my birthday tonight. He took me to this yummy place at the Monte Carlo called Andre's. They had two for one martini's and after the first martini, I had some issues talking.....but then I ate so all was good. I thought it was yummy and it was a perfect date night. Thank you T for loving me lots and spoiling me!

Today is my birthday! T took time off of work to spend it with me....isn't that sweet? We finally went to the driving range after he wanted to take me on our first date. My eye hand coordination isn't very good and we had a lot of laughs. Now if only T can get better like Tiger Woods. (j/k) We just got back from dinner with my family at Roy's. Overall, I would say that this is probably one of the best birthdays I've had in awhile. Thank you to my family, T and friends!

I met up with my girls for happy hour today. We haven't done this since Kona Grill in the Summer of 2007. Many things have changed since then.....we were all single in 07, but now we are all happily in a relationship. I've known Christel and Melissa since 7th grade. I'm glad that I have these girls in my life and we can always pick up where we left off.

I LOVE the vanilla roll cake from the bakery. It reminds me of my mom. We used to eat this cake for breakfast, snack and midnight snack. Good times. The cake isn't too sweet and it is moist. Yummy in my tummy.

T and I went to Dim Sum with old family friends who I've known since I was a little kid and remembered that my birthday is coming up. I've only been to this place once before and I thought it was decent. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get my turnip cake, but maybe I can have T get me some take out. I didn't take the picture (obviously), but I thought it was interesting that some random guy was also in my photo.

we were supposed to go to laser quest today, but apparently they were so busy that reservations were required. i had to take the kids to bowling instead. i was doing well in the beginning, but somehow i ended up last even with carlene and her bumpers! i guess that means i shouldn't become a pro-bowler.

I think that T likes trouble. Nismo is definitely a troublemaker. He definitely is not your average dog, but at the same time Nismo can be the sweetest dog ever. However, today I think he is TROUBLE. I still love him though.

i got my hurr did today! i finally went back to dark dark dark brown after being red/brown for the past 4 months and i have dark blue streaks which you cannot see in the picture. i change my hair quite often especially when i need to express my feelings or i need a big change. since august last year, i've changed my hair 4 times.....but going back to my dark color is probably my favorite. it's a bit hard to take self portraits with a DSLR...but somehow I managed and even though its not a good picture, you get the point.

i love juice boxes! i don't think you need to be 2 years old to have a juice box in hand. i came home from the store one night and T asked me why i had bought juice boxes. well the answer is....it's so i can take them with me anywhere and everywhere. capri sun and apple juice are my all time favorites buy them today!

ever since i was a little girl i have always loved taco bell. i can't remember the last time i had taco bell and since my BFF in reno is boycotting it for health reasons, i decided to get some taco bell tonight. i normally order: chicken soft tacos, nachos supreme and a pintos and cheese....it varies depending on what i feel like eating. today, i brought along my sidekick, nismo. nismo LOVES car rides. once again i couldn't choose the best picture....maybe its cause i take so many damn good pictures. (just kidding) the first picture depicts who nismo really is and the second one looks like he's checking out the ladies (such a ladies man).

i figure it's ok to cheat every once in awhile.

ps. we were stopped when i took these pictures...so i'm not driving and taking pictures at the same time....plus i'm driving T's car so i have to be extra careful or else T wouldn't be very happy with me!

i love spin!!!!! for those of you that don't know, i think i'm a spin maniac. i love spinning super fast and it's crazy how sweaty i can get. so...since i've been a regular spinner, i decided it's time to get spin shoes. i brought along my spinning sidekick, engel, on my quest for spin shoes. our first stop was sports chalet, not a very large selection but i found a possible candidate. second stop, mcghies, a cycling specialized store which did not provide me any service but service was provided to engel. i wasn't even asked if i needed help with anything....so i decided they are NOT getting my business. a week later, REI sent me the member's coupon and my return and TA-DA, i now am a proud owner of spin shoes. i will be trying them out tonight in spin class, so let's see how well that goes.

happy easter! we went to church today and had brunch with my family. for the past couple of years i've been giving lil easter baskets to the kids, but i think they might be getting too old for them now....well the boys probably are. oh well never too old to get presents right?

today we went to town square and tried out a new deli. i would give it 3 stars out of 5...ok maybe 2.5 stars. it wasn't that great and i think i would rather have port of subs instead of johnny's.

my dad, grandma, aunt amy, aunt emma and uncle po were in town this weekend. we went out to eat chinese food yesterday for lunch and dinner and today we were at city center. we had the buffet at aria......i've never been to city center before and it is massive. the buffet was decent and i was able to take a picture of all of them outside. i think this picture represents a lot of happiness.

T surprised me with roses today. A very nice gesture and no, he wasn't in trouble. It's definitely the lil things that matter and T's been doing an awesome job with remembering the lil things that I love since the beginning. Thank you T and I ♥ you!
